Dayton, OH

Shopify design and development for Dayton brands.

Looking for a Shopify agency in Dayton? Start with what actually needs doing: build the store, redesign the one you've outgrown, or market it once it's live with ads, email, search and testing. For brands doing six to eight figures a year.

Selling from the Miami Valley

Where two interstates cross, with five airports close by.

Dayton's advantage is where it sits. These are the conditions a brand here is selling in, each with where it comes from.

  • I-70 meets I-75

The Dayton Region sits where Interstates 70 and 75 cross, and more than 730 businesses in the region focus on logistics, by the Dayton Development Coalition's count.

  • Five airports within 90 minutes

The Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Louisville and Indianapolis international airports are all within 90 minutes of the Dayton Region, according to the Dayton Development Coalition.

Off the marketplace · paid and SEO

Moving a maker's business onto a store it owns.

Modified Tot is a nursery brand whose founder built a following on Etsy before the brand's own website was doing much. Dayton has a lot of brands with a workshop behind them, and a marketplace-first start is a familiar one.

We consolidated the ad campaigns that were competing with each other, stopped advertising what never sold, and raised budgets in small steps only when performance held.

Get the store built — or get the one you have selling better.

A build is one project: the design and theme, your catalog, the move off whatever you’re on now, and a launch somebody watches. From $10,000 one-time, and you own every bit of it.

Already on Shopify? Shopify Growth keeps the store improving month to month, from $2,250/mo. Ads, email, search and testing go on top when they’ll pay for themselves.

Questions, Dayton edition.

Are you actually in Dayton?

We're a remote agency — home base is Norristown, Pennsylvania, on the same Eastern clock as you — so there's no Dayton office to visit. Our people are spread across the US and everything runs on video calls, which reaches Kettering and Beavercreek as easily as downtown.

We make what we sell in small batches. How should the store handle stock?

By telling the truth loudly. A Dayton maker with genuine batch limits does better with 'next run ships in three weeks' and an email capture than with a product page that quietly goes out of stock — scarcity you explain is an asset, scarcity you hide is a lost customer.

Is a small city a disadvantage for hiring help like you?

Not any more, and that is not a sales line. Everything we do runs on video calls, so a Dayton brand gets the same team as a Chicago one. The place it still matters is photography, and that is worth travelling for once rather than settling on forever.

We sell radio or electronics gear. Should we do anything around Hamvention?

Yes — treat it as a launch date, not just a booth. Hamvention's in Xenia on May 21–23, 2027, and the people walking it are exactly the buyers who'll search for you afterwards. Get the new product live before the show, put a short URL on the table, and send one email to everyone who signed up while the weekend's still fresh.

We're between Cincinnati and Columbus. Which market should our ads chase?

Both, with Dayton in the middle of them. I-75 and I-70 cross here, so the Miami Valley sits within easy reach of two bigger metros. Start the ads on the whole corridor and let cost per sale tell you which city has earned more of the budget, rather than guessing from the map.

Where we work

Dayton and the rest of the Miami Valley.

Dayton invented a surprising amount of things and still makes a lot of them, so the brands here are more likely to have a workshop behind them than a warehouse account.

We’re a remote agency with a home base in Norristown, Pennsylvania — the team is spread across the country, with a good chunk of it on the west coast. Everything runs on video calls, so you get the same people and the same hours whether you’re downtown or an hour out of it.
