Cleveland, OH

Shopify design and development for Cleveland brands.

Looking for a Shopify agency in Cleveland? Start with what actually needs doing: build the store, redesign the one you've outgrown, or market it once it's live with ads, email, search and testing. For brands doing six to eight figures a year.

Selling from northeast Ohio

What northeast Ohio makes, from the factory floor to the market hall.

Northeast Ohio still builds things, and that shapes what a store here sells and how. Each point links to where it comes from.

  • Manufacturing carries weight

Team NEO projects manufacturing will account for nearly 16% of northeast Ohio's economic output through 2030, against a national average of 10%.

  • Food processing is growing

Team NEO's 2026 manufacturing outlook names food processing among the region's growth subsectors, alongside metals, aerospace, automotive and polymers.

  • A market hall since 1912

Cleveland's West Side Market opened to shoppers on November 2, 1912, and is the city's oldest continuously operating municipally owned market.

  • Polymers, just down the road

In October 2023, Akron was picked as one of 31 federal Tech Hubs, focused on sustainable polymers — plastic and rubber that can be made with fewer emissions and recycled.

Made to order · paid and search

Selling made-to-order products without a marketplace in the middle.

Modified Tot makes personalized nursery décor and custom wallpaper — made to order, like a lot of what Northeast Ohio builds. It had a devoted Etsy following, and its own website played a supporting role.

We ran paid, the site and SEO as one system, put the budget behind the categories with the margin, and fixed the product pages and search listings so the storefront could carry the business.

Start here

Get the store built — or get the one you have selling better.

A build is one project: the design and theme, your catalog, the move off whatever you’re on now, and a launch somebody watches. From $10,000 one-time, and you own every bit of it.

Already on Shopify? Shopify Growth keeps the store improving month to month, from $2,250/mo. Ads, email, search and testing go on top when they’ll pay for themselves.

Questions, Cleveland edition.

Are you actually in Cleveland?

We're a remote agency — home base is Norristown, Pennsylvania, same time zone as you — so there's no Cleveland office to visit. Our people are spread across the US and everything runs on video calls, which works just as well from Lakewood as from Akron.

We manufacture here. Does that belong on the site?

Prominently, if it is true. Around Cleveland it usually is, and made-here is one of the few claims a customer will pay more for — but it has to be specific. 'Made in Ohio' with a photograph of the shop beats 'proudly American' every time.

Our lead times are long because we build to order. How do we sell that?

By putting it on the product page instead of the confirmation email. A Cleveland brand with real build times loses more customers to surprise than to the wait itself — people will happily wait six weeks for something good and will cancel immediately when they find out at checkout.

We sell at the West Side Market. How do we turn regulars into online customers?

Give them a way to buy when they're not standing at the stall. A card in the bag with a short URL, a sign-up with something worth having, and a store that sells what travels — the jar, the rub, the gift box — rather than everything on the counter. People have been shopping that hall since 1912; the job online is making the second purchase as easy as walking past.

We make parts for other manufacturers and want to sell something direct. Is that realistic?

Often, if you start narrow. A lot of northeast Ohio makers have serious capability and one or two products a consumer would actually buy. Launch with those, write the pages for someone who's never read a spec sheet, and keep the trade side on its own quote form so a B2B inquiry doesn't get lost in a shopping cart.

Where we work

Cleveland, Akron and the rest of northeast Ohio.

Northeast Ohio makes things, and a brand with real manufacturing behind it is a different storefront problem from one that buys finished goods and adds a logo.

We’re a remote agency with a home base in Norristown, Pennsylvania — the team is spread across the country, with a good chunk of it on the west coast. Everything runs on video calls, so you get the same people and the same hours whether you’re downtown or an hour out of it.
