Jacksonville, FL

Shopify design and development for Jacksonville brands.

Looking for a Shopify agency in Jacksonville? Start with what actually needs doing: build the store, redesign the one you've outgrown, or market it once it's live with ads, email, search and testing. For brands doing six to eight figures a year.

Miami · down the coast

A storefront built for a brand people find by looking.

Lumohs is a Florida brand in downtown Miami rather than Jacksonville — a long way down the coast, and we would rather say so than let the state do the implying.

The category is visual first, so the weight sits on how the product is presented rather than on how much copy surrounds it.

Selling from the First Coast

Florida's container port, and a region that runs into Georgia.

Jacksonville's selling conditions start at the river. Each point links to where it comes from.

  • Florida's container port

JAXPORT is Florida's largest container port and one of the nation's largest vehicle-handling ports.

  • Rail and road at the dock

Shippers at JAXPORT connect to 40 daily trains on CSX, Norfolk Southern and the regional Florida East Coast line, plus three interstates.

  • A gateway for Central Florida too

The port pitches itself to Central Florida businesses as their route for international freight, not only to Northeast Florida's.

  • The region crosses the line

The Census Bureau's combined Jacksonville area includes Camden County, Georgia, around Kingsland, as well as Palatka to the south.

Get the store built — or get the one you have selling better.

A build is one project: the design and theme, your catalog, the move off whatever you’re on now, and a launch somebody watches. From $10,000 one-time, and you own every bit of it.

Already on Shopify? Shopify Growth keeps the store improving month to month, from $2,250/mo. Ads, email, search and testing go on top when they’ll pay for themselves.

Questions, Jacksonville edition.

Are you actually in Jacksonville?

We're a remote agency, so there's no office to visit anywhere — ours or anyone else's. Our people are spread across the US and we run on video calls, which is how we'd work with you either way. Our Florida client is in Miami, a long way down the coast, and we would rather be specific than round it to 'Florida'.

We're closer to Georgia than to Miami. Does that matter?

It matters for your ads. The metro runs right up to the Georgia line, so a campaign aimed at Florida skips shoppers who are closer to you than Orlando is, and spends plenty on Miami. We target by distance from Jacksonville instead, Georgia side included.

Port logistics are big here. Does that help an ecommerce brand?

It can, if you import. Being near a working port shortens the boring part of your supply chain, and the place it shows up on the site is stock: fewer gaps, shorter lead times, and a shipping promise you can actually keep.

We ship bulky or heavy products. Is Jacksonville a good base for that?

Better than most, because the freight side already exists here — a container port, 40 daily trains and three interstates. What decides whether heavy goods work online is the checkout: rates worked out from real weight and distance rather than a flat fee that loses money on every far-away order, and a delivery window on the product page you can actually meet.

A lot of our customers are in Central Florida. Do we plan for them separately?

Plan for them as a second market. Freight already treats Jacksonville as Central Florida's gateway, so product moves south easily; ads don't. A campaign drawn around Duval County never reaches Orlando, so give Central Florida its own budget line once the numbers say it's earning one.

Where we work

Jacksonville, the beaches and the rest of northeast Florida.

Jacksonville covers more ground than almost any city in the country and behaves like several towns sharing a name, so a brand here often has a local customer base that is genuinely spread out.

We’re a remote agency with a home base in Norristown, Pennsylvania — the team is spread across the country, with a good chunk of it on the west coast. Everything runs on video calls, so you get the same people and the same hours whether you’re downtown or an hour out of it.
