Charlotte, NC

Shopify design and development for Charlotte brands.

Looking for a Shopify agency in Charlotte? Start with what actually needs doing: build the store, redesign the one you've outgrown, or market it once it's live with ads, email, search and testing. For brands doing six to eight figures a year.

Waxhaw · twenty-five miles south

Off a marketplace and onto a store they own.

Modified Tot is a personalized nursery brand in Waxhaw, about twenty-five miles south of uptown Charlotte. They'd built an audience on a marketplace and wanted the same business on a storefront of their own.

We run the paid, the search and the growth work behind that store — the unglamorous part where you find out whether the second channel can carry real spend without falling over.

Stuffed States

A new store, a paid program and an email engine in one season. Not a Carolinas brand — the Waxhaw work above is marketing, so here's what a build from scratch looks like.

Inside the build

What you get when we build / redesign your store.

Whether it's a new store or a move off something you've outgrown, the same five things have to be right before launch. None of them are extras.

Your history comes with you

Moving from WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Squarespace or an older Shopify theme — products, customers, orders and the URLs Google already knows about.

A catalog people can shop

Variants, options, collections and filters set up so a shopper finds the thing they came for, and so your team can add the next product without calling us.

A theme built for your store

Designed and built around what you actually sell, fast on a phone, and editable by you afterwards — not a template with your logo dropped in.

The rest of your stack, connected

Klaviyo, reviews, subscriptions, shipping and your ERP or 3PL, wired up and actually passing data — plus the tracking, so you can tell what worked.

A launch nobody panics about

Checkout tested end to end, redirects mapped, analytics confirmed firing, and someone watching the first orders land instead of hoping.

Questions, Charlotte edition.

Are you actually in Charlotte?

We're a remote agency — no office anywhere, and our people are spread across the US. So we're in Charlotte the same way we're in Waxhaw, where the nursery brand below is: on a video call whenever you want one. Nobody we work with has ever found the pin on the map to be the part that mattered.

We sell on a marketplace already. Is our own store worth the trouble?

It's the exact move we made with a nursery brand twenty-five miles south of you, so here's the honest version: a marketplace owns the customer, the pricing and the next email. Your own store is slower to start and it's the only version you keep. Most brands run both for a while.

We're a Carolinas brand doing most of our volume at markets and events. Does that change the build?

It changes what the store is for. Around Charlotte we see a lot of brands whose real engine is in-person and whose site is an afterthought — so the job is usually to make the site carry the customers the events already earned, with email doing the follow-up rather than a booth.

What's included in a typical Shopify build?

Design and theme development around what you actually sell, your catalog set up so it can be shopped and maintained, the integrations you already depend on wired in, tracking that reports honestly, and a launch somebody watches. If you're migrating, the move itself and the redirects come with it.

Which platforms can you migrate from?

WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Wix, and older Shopify themes — products, customers, order history and the URLs you already rank for. The redirects are the part people forget, and they're the part that decides whether your search traffic survives the move.

How long does a build take, and who does the work?

Most builds run eight to twelve weeks depending on catalog size and how many systems have to talk to each other. No juniors and no handoffs — the people you meet are the people who do it, and you'll approve the design before anything gets built.

What happens after launch?

Nothing switches off. Shopify Growth keeps the store improving month to month, and most brands add ads, email or testing on top once the store is doing its job. You can also just take the store and go — it's yours either way.

Where we work

Charlotte on both sides of the state line.

The Charlotte metro runs well past the county line and over the South Carolina border, and the brand we work with here is twenty-five miles out — which is fairly typical of who finds us rather than an exception.

We’re a remote agency — the team is spread across the country, with a good chunk of it on the west coast. Everything runs on video calls, so you get the same people and the same hours whether you’re downtown or an hour out of it.
