Tucson, AZ

Shopify design and development for Tucson brands.

Looking for a Shopify agency in Tucson? Start with what actually needs doing: build the store, redesign the one you've outgrown, or market it once it's live with ads, email, search and testing. For brands doing six to eight figures a year.

First ads · weekly tune-ups

A first paid program, built on customers the brand already had.

Pumpin Pal is a maternity brand that had grown without spending a dollar on ads — the craft-first kind of business Tucson has plenty of, where the product earned its reputation before anybody marketed it.

We built its first campaigns from audiences drawn from the real customer list, then moved budget every week toward what was working, so paid added new sales instead of paying for ones organic would have brought in anyway.

Selling from Tucson

The gem shows, a food city, and Arizona's own clock.

Tucson's calendar and its food both reach well past the city. These are the conditions a store here is working with, each with where it comes from.

  • The gem shows, every February

The 72nd annual Tucson Gem and Mineral Show runs February 11–14, 2027, under the theme "Minerals as Art."

  • The first U.S. City of Gastronomy

In 2015, UNESCO designated Tucson the first Creative City of Gastronomy in the United States, recognizing an agricultural tradition that goes back more than 4,000 years.

  • Standard time, all year

Most of Arizona never moves its clocks: the legislature turned down daylight saving time in 1968, and only the Navajo Nation in the north of the state observes it.

Get the store built — or get the one you have selling better.

A build is one project: the design and theme, your catalog, the move off whatever you’re on now, and a launch somebody watches. From $10,000 one-time, and you own every bit of it.

Already on Shopify? Shopify Growth keeps the store improving month to month, from $2,250/mo. Ads, email, search and testing go on top when they’ll pay for themselves.

Questions, Tucson edition.

Are you actually in Tucson?

We're a remote agency, so there's no office to visit anywhere — ours or anyone else's. Our people are spread across the US and we run on video calls, which is how we'd work with you either way. Our Arizona client is up in Tempe, near Phoenix, about ninety minutes north — and we would rather name the city than call it 'Arizona' and move on.

Does not observing daylight saving cause problems?

Not with a remote team, and Tucson gets asked this less than it should. The gap to the East Coast shifts by an hour in November and nobody notices, because we have people across enough time zones that somebody is always on your clock.

Half the year is unbearably hot. Does that show up in sales?

For anything worn or used outdoors, yes, and it is worth planning for. A Tucson brand with a summer trough should be building the list in the hot months and selling hard in the cool ones rather than spending evenly and wondering why July was bad.

We sell at the gem shows. How do we keep those buyers after February?

By giving them somewhere to go the week they fly home. The main show runs February 11–14 in 2027, and the people who stopped at your table came from everywhere. Have the pieces you brought already listed — one-of-a-kind stock set to a quantity of one, so nothing oversells — and a way to take an email at the table that doesn't need a clipboard.

Half our gem-show buyers are wholesale and half are collectors. One store or two?

One store, two doors. Collectors want photos, provenance and a checkout; wholesale buyers want a login, their own pricing and minimums. Keep the wholesale side behind an application so retail shoppers never see those prices, and you don't have to run two catalogs every time a new flat comes in.

Where we work

Tucson and southern Arizona around it.

Tucson has a university at its center and a border ninety minutes south, and the brands here lean more craft and less corporate than the ones up in Phoenix.

We’re a remote agency with a home base in Norristown, Pennsylvania — the team is spread across the country, with a good chunk of it on the west coast. Everything runs on video calls, so you get the same people and the same hours whether you’re downtown or an hour out of it.
